Section 57 - Establishment and Funding of the Consumer Welfare Fund

Under Section 57, the government is required to create a Consumer Welfare Fund. This fund will receive money from three main sources. First, it will include amounts specified in another section of the law, specifically sub-section (5) of section 54. Second, any income generated from investing the money already in the fund will also be credited to it. Lastly, the fund will receive other monies as prescribed by the law. This setup ensures that the fund has multiple streams of income to support consumer welfare initiatives.
