Section 123: Establishment of Anti-profiteering Committees

The law allows for the creation of a Standing Committee on Anti-profiteering, which will include officers from both the State and Central Government as appointed by the Council. Additionally, each State is required to set up a State-level Screening Committee. This committee will be made up of two officers: one nominated by the State Government's Commissioner and another by the Central Government's Chief Commissioner. These committees are part of efforts to regulate and monitor anti-profiteering activities.
