Section 9: Declaration Requirements for Registered Persons

Under section 9 of the Act, every person who is registered must submit a specific declaration. This declaration must be filed using FORM HSNS DEC-01 on the designated Portal. The submission should occur within seven days after the registration is granted. Additionally, if there are any changes that affect the calculation of cess, such as the installation of new machinery or changes in processes, the registered person must submit a new declaration. This updated declaration must be filed within fifteen days of the change. This ensures that all relevant information is up-to-date and accurate.
