Section 27: Filing an Appeal to the Appellate Tribunal

Under Section 27, if you want to appeal to the Appellate Tribunal as per sub-section (1) of section 30 of the Act, you must submit your appeal using FORM HSNS APL-02. This form should be accompanied by all relevant documents, including any cross-objections and the decision or order you are contesting. Once you submit your appeal, you will receive an acknowledgement with an appeal number. This acknowledgement's date will be considered the official filing date of your appeal. However, if you don't provide a self-certified copy of the decision or order within seven days of filing, the date you eventually submit this copy will be considered the filing date. It's important to note that your appeal is only officially filed once you receive the final acknowledgement with the appeal number.
